Packard Auto Manufacturing Plant

Detroit, Michigan
There was a system of tunnels running under the Packard plant.
The freight elevator shaft, looking down...
This spiral staircase led to the roof.
I spent a weekend with a few friends in Detroit, and we got in some good urbexing. Amongst exploring other buildings, we made two trips to the Packard plant, one at night, and one during the day. This place is so huge, even though we spent hours there, we still didn't cover it all. The building is six stories tall, and we were able to get onto the roof as you can see in some pictures. You can get a great view of the Detroit skyline from the roof, especially at night.
My friend Carie took this one, I liked it so much that I stole it.
